Returning Parent Meeting TONIGHT Returning Band Student Parent Orientation Aug 11, 6:00pm - 7:00pm EDT All returning students and parents are encouraged to attend. This will include an overview of jazz bands as well. Orientation will take place in the theatre.

Big Day Tomorrow! Tomorrow, we begin an awesome adventure of a year! I know our students will have a wonderful first week. We have an amazing year of music and learning planned for all of us. First Day for Students Aug 10, 8:25am - 3:25am EDT Arrive as early as 7:55 for school First Bell rings at 8:20 Dismissal begins at 3:20 Reminder - every student will go through security checks upon school entry, so consider what is in/on backpacks. Report to first period first thing.

Band Room Glow Up It's time to give out band room a fresh start before the year kicks off, and we need YOU! Date: Tuesday, August 4th from 10am - 1pm This is a great opportunity for students to earn volunteer hours and a great way to get to know band families better as we work together for our program. We strongly encourage as many students and families as possible to join. With 5-10 people, we can complete 2-3 hours of work together efficiently! Projects: Change air cleaner

Lavilla Band Camp 2026 Time to dust off those instruments before the school year starts!!! Come work with guest clinicians each day on All-State materials, work on concert band music with your directors, and see all your friends and find out what they did over the summer! This camp is open to any LaVilla student who will be in 7th or 8th grade in August. The 3 days camp will be Tuesday August 4th through Thursday August 6th from 3:30pm - 6:30pm in the band room.
