Happy Sunday!

It's hard to believe we have already reached the end of the first quarter. You can view your student's grades in Focus. As a reminder, students should be practicing every day for 30 minutes to an hour.

Congratulations on an excellent first concert of the year last week! A heartfelt thank you to all those who volunteered and helped make it a success for our young performers!

District Honor Band auditions are on 11/12 at Atlantic Coast High School.  This is required for all Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band students. Agreement forms must be signed and returned ASAP. There is a $12 audition fee that can be paid via CutTime or cash/check.

Please be aware of two additional events that have been added to our calendar.

Dec. 9th @ 11:30am is a MANDATORY IN-SCHOOL performance for Chamber & Wind Ensemble. The Valdosta State Trombone Quartet will be visiting during 3A. Students will wear their long-sleeve band shirts and uniform. More information will be provided as we get closer to the event.

Dec 10th @ 7:00pm - ALL Percussion (6th-8th grade) Concert at Douglas Anderson. More information to follow as we get closer to the event.

Truck Driver also needed on Dec 10th from All Percussion Concert at DA. Please visit the calendar in CutTime for more information.

All short-sleeve polos and long-sleeve shirts will be delivered to students during school hours this week!

If you pre-ordered band merch (hoodies and shirts) these are complete as well! Our volunteers are working to deliver to students as soon as possible. Be on the lookout these this week and next.
