Wednesday, September 4th, begins our Silly String FUNdraiser Kick-Off! Goal per Student: Sell 14 Tumblers or Raise $200 in donations BONUS: Receive 80% of any additional donations (after $200 goal met) and 40% of additional tumbler sales (after 14) directly into your student account!

Overall Goal for the Band: $30,000 Why: Private lessons program for all students, world-class guest artists, and instruments and supplies

When: 9/4/2024 - 9/27/2024 @ 1:00pm

How: Register at https://instaraise.com using CAMPAIGN ID: 19716. Customize your profile, and add contacts to share your campaign and collect donations.

Throughout the campaign, students will have several opportunities to earn exciting prizes individually and as a team with classmates!


Week 1: Rock Paper Scissors Tournament Any student who registers on InstaRaise and adds 10 or more contacts will attend a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament on Friday, Sept. 6th. Battle it out with fellow band members and orchestra students. The winner will receive a $20 gift card and runner-ups will receive $10 gift cards!



Week 2: Classroom Game

Compete as a team with your classmates against the other band classes. The class with the highest donation totals at the end of the week gets bragging rights and to play a game in class on Friday, Sept. 13th!


Week 3: Candy Craze

Any student with 10 or more donations, in any amount, will attend the Candy Craze event on Friday, Sept. 20th! Details of this event must remain top secret, but we assure you, you won't want to miss it!!


Week 4: Silly String Soiree

Our top 10 highest earners for the campaign will attend the Silly String Soiree on Friday, Sept. 27th to Silly String a defenseless Mr. Banks, Mrs. Davidson, and Mr. Dunn!!


PLUS Any student who meets their goal will attend and join in on the fun when we give the Directors Silly String to spray back!


Parents - We need Volunteers & Candy!

If you are available to help with some of the events, please sign up in CutTime via the Calendar/Events section.


We are also collecting candy donations! Please send any bags of individually wrapped candy (think pinata) to school with your student before Wednesday, September 18th. Students can drop off candy in the band room before heading to their holding area or first-period class.
