Sunday Check In and Fundraiser Updates

Hi, all!

WHEW, what a weekend.

The Friends and Family Phone A Thon was a wild success! WAY TO GO EVERYONE!!!!!!

Our students were amazing - making calls, sharing why the band program means so much to them, and having great conversations with family, friends, and community supports.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers who helped make today a success - from chaperoning, donating a delicious breakfast, helping with phone issues, cheering students on, scooping ice cream, doing clean up, and jumping in with helping hands in every aspect of the day. You made this day so much fun for everyone involved!

The fun isn't over yet - we're extending the fundraiser through August 30th! Remember, the link stays open until August 30th, so if you want to encourage your kiddo to reach out to more family members, there is still time! If you need some, thank you notes will be available with the band directors by this Friday, for all who participated.

If you are a parent who attended the ice cream social, and have pictures of the awesome time that was had, please share them with us so that we can properly thank Mayday Ice Cream for their support and donations! And if you are craving ice cream in the next few weeks, stop by their Brooklyn shop and tell them the band sent ya!

ASJ Rehearsal

Pick up in the bus loop. Students how are in the Ashley Street Jazz band are the only students who attend this rehearsal.

Virtual Instrument Rental Night

Aug 28, 6:30pm - 7:30pm EDT

Virtual meeting details will be shared by directors. It's an exciting week in concert band, as students get ready to find out their instrument! Virtual Instrument Rental Night is for any student who does not yet have their instrument.
